Terms of Service

Last updated: 08/01/2026

This is a Cue legal template. Replace it with terms reviewed for your operating entity before production use; it is not legal advice.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Cue (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. Cue is a connected prompt library; this product-specific template still needs review by the operating entity before production use.

2. Service Use

Cue provides account-based access to a private prompt library. You may create, organize, search, and retrieve your own Cues through the Cue workspace and compatible MCP, ChatGPT, or future CLI connections.

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate applicable laws or the rights of others
  • Probe, disrupt, or bypass security or usage limits
  • Upload malicious code or content you are not authorized to use
  • Automate abusive requests or interfere with other users
  • Misrepresent your identity or account permissions
3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate information.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for extended periods.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Subscriptions

Cue does not currently offer paid subscriptions. If paid plans are introduced, their limits, renewal terms, and price will be shown before checkout.

Billing

Cue does not currently process payment information. Any future payment flow will identify the payment provider, taxes, currency, and available methods before you submit an order.

Refunds

No paid Cue service is available today. If Cue later offers paid services, the applicable refund policy will be provided before purchase and will not limit rights that cannot be waived by law.

For questions about a future charge, contact support@cue.local with the account email and payment reference. A refund request does not cancel a paid plan unless cancellation is confirmed.

Price Changes

Cue may change future prices after giving any notice required by applicable law. A price change will not alter a completed billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit harmful code or malware
  • Engage in unauthorized access or hacking
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Spam or send unsolicited communications
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
6. Intellectual Property

The Cue service, brand, and original application content are owned by the Cue operating entity. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

You retain ownership of the prompts and other content you add to Cue. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and deliver that content through your account and connected clients.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cue and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This clause must be reviewed for the operating entity and applicable law before production use.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Cue and its operators against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or content you submit without the necessary rights. This clause must be reviewed for the operating entity and applicable law before production use.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive.

11. Governing Law

The governing law and venue for Cue have not yet been designated. This clause must be completed by the operating entity before production use.

As we operate globally, we comply with applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other regions with mandatory consumer protection laws, you retain the rights granted to you under such laws, and nothing in these Terms shall limit those statutory rights.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
